3 books by ACC collaborators and members where launched on 4 February 2010 at the Cape Institute of Architecture in Hout Street. This well attended affair also marked the launch of Working in Warwick, an exhibition of photography accompanying a book of the same title by Richard Dobson and ACC Senior Researcher and WIEGO Urban Policy Director, Caroline Skinner. The books launched at the event were Cities and Development by Jo Beall and Sean Fox; City Life from Jakarta to Dakar by AbdouMaliq Simone and Working in Warwick: Including Street Traders in Urban Plans by Richard Dobson and Caroline Skinner. The event was co-hosted with the Institute and Asiye eTafuleni, a Durban based NGO offering design and facilitation services for the informal economy
