The ACC's Edgar Pieterse co-moderated (with Barbara Lipietz) one of six e-dialogues held between November & December 2009 in preparation for the much anticipated World Urban Forum. Focussing on 'Governance and Participation', the dialogue produced a fascinating array of perspectives and exchanges. It ran for four weeks and attracted about 202 postings from 28 countries and many more viewers. The responses extended the geographical boundaries of the exchange further through references to broader territories. A report prepared on the e-dialogue will be available in due course.
