Mrs. Katindi Njonjo works for Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Kenya), a public policy think tank that conducts research and proposes feasible policy alternatives in economic and political arenas. She is the Programme Officer in charge of the Futures Programme which seeks to facilitate increased utilization of futures methodologies (Vision Building, Scenarios thinking and Strategic Planning) in research and policy analysis. In her current role, Mrs. Njonjo coordinated the dissemination of Kenya's possible futures entitled Kenya at the Cross Roads: Scenarios for our Future and has been involved in scenarios building processes in Kenya and in the East African Region. She has helped the government conceptualize and write the Kenya's long term plan christened Vision 2030. Mrs. Njonjo has authored research papers such as Managing Change in Public Policy Analysis 'Think Tanks': A Case Study of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA, Kenya). Her educational background is in Organizational Development, Sociology and International Relations. She is also trained in Scenarios Planning and Gender Budgeting.
