Tau Tavengwa is attached to the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town. He has worked as a designer in the architectural field, concept/interpretation designer on various museum projects, creative director of Art South Africa Magazine and more recently as creative director and co-editor of Snapped Magazine, a photography quarterly. He works on various ACC Media projects as a cordinator/designer/editor as well as curator of exhibitions for the centre. His most recent publishing project with the ACC is Counter-Currents - Experiments in Sustainability in the Cape Town Region with Professor Edgar Pieterse. Tau is joint editor as well as publisher of bi-annual publication CityScapes Magazine on design and cities in the global south. He is currently also working on UrbanAfrica.net an online portal on urban issues accross the continent.  An exhibition on Cape Town for late 2012 is also in the works
