ICLEI's Local Climate Solutions for Africa 2011 Conference will offer a platform for local and sub-national authorities and stakeholders to discuss climate change adaptation and resilience as well as energy and cimate change mitigation. The focus will be Africa's urban environments. An ACC panel on "Research, science and technology: bridging the gap for Africa's urban future" will be convened at the conference on 28 February 2011
